At the cabinet meeting on 18 January 2023, Dieter Janecek was confirmed as the new Federal Government Coordinator for Maritime Economy and Tourism. He succeeds Claudia Müller, who moved to the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture as Parliamentary State Secretary on 1 January.
