It finally worked out. After four general meetings that were postponed due to the coronavirus, a test by circulation procedure and an extraordinary general meeting by circulation procedure, the members of MOV met in Schortens on 9 October for an ordinary general meeting. This was preceded by a twilight drink on "Rees an Backbord" at the German Naval Museum in Wilhelmshaven on 8 October. The official part of the meeting centred on the complete re-election of the entire Executive Board, the Council of Elders and the auditors. Dear members, dear participants of the General Assembly, we are currently receiving many enquiries at the office expressing concerns about the risk of coronavirus infection during our General Assembly on 8 and 9 October 2021. I can assure you that we are exhausting all possibilities to minimise the risk of infection as much as possible. In addition, the number of infections in Wilhelmshaven and "umzu" continues to decline.
