London - IMO focusses on transparency

At its 132nd session in July 2024, the Council of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) decided to take several steps to modernise its working methods. In future, plenary sessions will be broadcast live (live streaming) and documents will be made publicly accessible for the first time. In addition, opportunities for both virtual and in-person participation in meetings will be permanently established and multilingualism will be improved through a new strategic framework. North Sea - E-charging station for ships in test operation
