Wagen un Winnen: 175 years of Fassmer

On the occasion of its 175th anniversary at the Berne site, the family-owned company FASSMER celebrated with guests from politics, business and the maritime industry. German seaports hope for prioritisation

Now that Europe and Germany are massively increasing their defence spending, the Central Association of German Seaport Operators (ZDS) is calling for some of the funds from the special infrastructure and climate neutrality fund to be used for both expansion and protection against potential military attacks. Canada signs several defence agreements

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has signed several agreements with international partners during a trip abroad. Second fleet service boat starts production earlier

Big day in Wolgast Steel construction began at the Peene shipyard site in Wolgast for the second Class 424 fleet service boat, which will be launched several months earlier than planned to replace the Bundeswehr's OSTE class in the near future. Large-scale exercises to secure the Baltic Sea

September is the month of the major exercises Quadriga and Northern Coast From 18 August to 30 September 2025, the Bundeswehr and 13 partner nations will be conducting a large-scale exercise to protect the Baltic Sea region.
