Modernisation of simulators for NH90 NFH Sea Lion

The maintenance and repair trainer (maintenance rig, MTR) for training NH90 NTH Sea Lion aircraft technicians, which has been in operation at Naval Air Wing 5 in Nordholz since 2019, is being modernised. Rolls-Royce offers new mtu shipping solutions

Rolls-Royce plans to showcase new mtu marine solutions at the maritime industry trade fair in Hamburg (SMM) from 6 to 9 September 2022 Rolls-Royce announced in 2021 as part of its 'Net Zero at Power Systems' sustainability programme that it would realign the product portfolio of its Power Systems business unit so that sustainable fuels and new mtu technologies can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 35 percent by 2030 compared to 2019. LUH SK: Marine favours service solution

Die Bundeswehr plant schon seit einigen Jahren einen Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) für mehrere Teilstreitkräfte zu beschaffen, mit dem insbesondere die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Piloten zwischen der Beendigung ihrer Hubschrauber-Grundausbildung und dem Einsatz auf ihrem Einsatzhelikopter wie dem NH90 oder dem Tiger erfolgen soll.
