Wilhelmshaven - The first two new and modernised Rapid C-810 rescue and operations boats have been handed over to Flotilla 2. They will be deployed on the F123 and F124 class frigates. The United Nations wants to protect the marine habitat from pollution and overexploitation with the marine conservation agreement. At least 60 states must have ratified the treaty by 2025. Since the annual General Assembly of Heads of State and Government at the end of September, the marine conservation agreement has been open for signature at the United Nations in New York.
