Steigende Umweltschutzauflagen könnten das Recycling von Schiffen auch in Deutschland wieder lukrativ machen. In Emden will die EWD von dieser Entwicklung profitieren. Yachten, U-Boote, Forschungsschiffe, Kreuzfahrtriesen: Deutsche Werften fertigen verschiedenste und anspruchsvollste Schiffe. Zudem wird hier umgebaut, repariert und gewartet.
