Airfield festival in Gatow

A festival: not just for aviation enthusiasts! The Military History Museum of the Bundeswehr Berlin-Gatow Airfield (MHMBw) and the Association of Reservists in Berlin (VdRBw) invite you to the 12th Airfield Festival on the grounds of Gatow Airfield. The exact date is the last holiday weekend in Berlin and Brandenburg: Saturday, 31 August, 10:00 to 18:00 Sunday, 1 September, 10:00 to 18:00 Exclusively for the airfield festival, the museum is opening its depot in Hangar 7, which is otherwise not open to the public. The depot contains some of the 600,000 exhibits from the German Air Force that are kept by the MHMBw but are only available to the public.

The frigate "Baden-Württemberg" and the task force provider "Frankfurt am Main" have been travelling as part of Operation Indo-Pacific Deployment since May. Suez Canal - Revenue down

Since merchant ships in the Red Sea have been repeatedly attacked by the Yemeni Houthi militia, demonstrating their support for the militant Palestinian Hamas in their fight against Israel, the number of ship passages has fallen from 25,911 in the 2022/2023 financial year to 20,148 in 2023/2024, according to the head of the Egyptian Canal Authority.
