The world's first import corridor for liquid hydrogen through the Sultanate of Oman, the Netherlands and Germany was agreed in a Joint Development Agreement (JDA). This corridor will connect the port of Duqm in Oman with Amsterdam in the Netherlands and important logistics centres in Germany, including Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) and the Port of Duisburg. The corridor will enable the commercial import of liquid hydrogen from EU-compliant renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO). After Singapore unveiled its autonomous MARSEC platform for controlling the waterways off the coast of the city state earlier this year, the island state of Taiwan, which is threatened by mainland China, has now also made its unmanned combat system for the defence of the Taiwan Strait and national waters public. Similar to the Magura drones successfully deployed by Ukraine against Russian ships of all sizes, the "Endeavor Manta" manufactured by Taiwan's China Shipbuilding Corporation (CSBC Corp.) is now set to expand the defence spectrum of the Taiwanese navy in a cost-effective and personnel-friendly manner. The explosive charge integrated into a trimaran hull made of fibreglass-reinforced plastics leaves room for a few more weapons on the hull sides.
