Russia - Submarine relocated from the Baltic Sea back to the Mediterranean

Nach einem mehr als einjährigen Verbleib in der Mittelmeer-Einsatzgruppe der russischen Marine hatte das russische U-Boot 555 „Novorossiysk“ (Projekt 636.3 - Improved KILO-Class, Schwarzmeer-Flotte) Mitte September 2022 Tartus in Syrien Richtung Ostsee verlassen. Ziel der "Novorossiysk" mit ihrer bis zu 60 Mann starken Besatzung war der Marinestützpunkt Kronstad bei Sankt Petersburg, der im Oktober 2022 für eine Werftliegezeit erreicht wurde. Netherlands - Fire on board a frigate

In the late morning of 29 August 2024, a fire broke out on one of the diesel generators on board the frigate HNLMS "Evertsen" (144 metres, 6000 tonnes) for reasons as yet unknown. The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. A spokesperson for the navy told marineschepen.nl on 30 August 2024 that there was only damage to the insulation of the exhaust pipe and that the diesel itself was undamaged. Half-time for the Indo-Pacific Squadron

Hamburg: Japanese training association visits
